The wonderful display of aurora of 6th/7th April 2000 was seen from the south of England by Grant Privett. Photographed on Konica 200ASA film, using a 50mm F1.8 lens with a 15s exposure. The display was watched from 00:10 until 2:30 and displayed several major bursts of actitivy from 0:15 through until 00:50. The northern horizon was electric eau de nil with salmon pink over a large proportion of the sky and pale green streamers running up to the zenith.
