davemoon2008

A fine picture of the waning (20 day old) gibbous Moon taken by Dave Woodward. He took it on the 19th of September 2008 using an 80mm Celestron ED spotting scope, a Canon Powershot G5 Compact camera, afocal projection a 1/125th sec exposure and a Vixen GPDX driven mount. The smallest visible feature is 6km across.
