palms

While sitting in a beachside restaurant we saw the Moon and Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn with the Moon at the eastern end of the grouping. With a simple SLR we could not catch the whole view so we placed the camera on the stable, wedged it firmly with some ashtrays and took a 15 second shot when the nearby lights turned themselves off for 30 second (faulty bulb). Not very scientific, but a nice picture of wind blowing the Hawaiian palms around. Grant Privett.
