Jupiter, Venus and the Moon
The conjunction of the 1st December 2008 followed close on the heels of a daytime occultation of Venus by the Moon. the day was clear throughout and then as night approach cloud moved in so the shot was taken between clouds from Wilton in Wiltshire using a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ7 (not a DSLR) set to automatic to give an estimate of the exposure and then manually tweaked to darken the image a couple of stops. A tripod was used for stability. Grant Privett.
