m74-dec07

The face on spiral M74 in Pisces. The galaxy that has brought many a Messier marathon to an end. Its fairly low surface brightness and quite large but well worth imaging. I used a 10" F4.4 Newtonian reflector on an SP mount. The image was created from 150x 45s exposures. The camera was a Starlight SXV-M7. Grant Privett.
