m94-1

M94 imaged by Peter Shah using a 8" Newtonian at f/4.5. This shot was a single ten min exposure in luminance. More unusually the outer ring of stars are quite visable. A lot of images of this object dont show this ring and we only see this because we have nice darks skies in Shropshire.
