M15 is an easy to find 6th magnitude globular cluster lying in the western (unfashionable) end of Pegasus. It resolves easily in a 200mm and also boasts a 1 arc second wide planetary nebula named Pease 1 which I have not yet got round to identifying in this picture. The nebula is not easy visually requiring a 16" telescope and an O-III filter to prise it out of the background.

The image above was captured with the society Starlight MX716 camera. I took lots of pictures of 45 second exposure and stacked them together (being sure to remove the trailed ones first) giving an effective exposure of about 90 minutes which at that declination probably amounts to a limit of around mag 20th. The telescope was a 10" F4.4 Newtonian on a Vixen SP mount thats old enough to vote. Grant Privett.
